Unit 1 focuses primarily on energy, technology & infrastructure, B2B and strategic consulting. The unit stands both for qualitative and quantitative research as well as for research-based sales-, marketing- and organisational consultancy.
The two main persons of Unit 1 have a diverse background, which empowers internal discussions on the optimal methods to choose and the best results to extract.
Bernd Meinecke (born 1948) has studied sociology and social psychology in Frankfurt am Main during the mid-60s. After that, he spent 10 years in urban development, managing research projects on mobility and housing. He moved to Hamburg in 1983, where market research and strategic marketing consulting became the core of his professional life. Together with Martin Rosengarten he founded Meinecke & Rosengarten in 1992 as "Team for research-based marketing consultancy".
Daniel Feldhaus (born 1979) first studied Philosophy & Economics (B.A.) in Bayreuth, Germany, and Dijon, France, after his professional education as banker in Dortmund. After that, he studied Marketing & Strategy (MSc) at the University of Warwick, England. Daniel is an active member of the Marketing Club Hamburg e.V. and the Marketeer Club Europe e.V.. On January 1st 2017, he followed Bernd Meinecke as Unit Director. Both combine their strengths for individual client solutions.
